The read-only Career Assistant pilot is a Pro-membership feature. It includes a private Main Resume critique covering clarity, evidence, resume readability, consistency, balance, gaps, and claims that may need support. Resume readability includes a plain-language check of whether common employer recruiting software, sometimes called an applicant tracking system or ATS, can process the document’s structure. The assistant uses only the signed-in customer’s authorized career sources. It cannot see another customer’s information, edit files, or take actions on the customer’s behalf.

81Hire helps you compare your real experience with a job, review evidence-backed recommendations, create tailored resumes and cover letters, and keep your applications organized.

Starter is $2 USD per month for up to five tailored resumes per billing period. Pro is $25 USD per month for up to 50 tailored resumes per billing period. Usage allowances reset each billing period and do not roll over.

Yes. Create a private account to build and download one tailored resume free. No payment method is required for the trial.

No. 81Hire is designed to work only from the career information you provide. You review and approve recommended changes before creating a document.

No. 81Hire does not sell your resume or personal information, and customer content is not used or authorized by 81Hire for AI model training. When you request an AI-assisted feature, only the information needed to provide that feature is securely processed by contracted AI service providers. Limited service-provider processing and retention may still apply as explained in the Terms of Service.

You can upload Word (.docx) and PDF resumes. Each file can be up to 15 MB, and you can keep multiple versions in your Resume Vault.

Your Main Resume is the primary source used for job analysis and recommendations. A Reference Resume is a broader supporting resume or career-history document that is not tied to one application. A Past Application Resume is a file you used for a specific employer or role before or outside 81Hire; you can record the employer and role without a job link. A Job-specific Resume is a tailored resume that 81Hire created for an opportunity.

Resume readability checks whether a document uses clear headings, readable text, conventional sections, and a structure that common employer recruiting software can process. That software is often called an applicant tracking system, or ATS. 81Hire does not claim to reproduce an employer's private ATS score or guarantee an interview.

Open Improve My Resume for a private review of any saved resume. You can also record missing employment, projects, achievements, and skills in the Career Evidence Library. Evidence remains a draft until you confirm it. When you choose confirmed evidence, 81Hire can create a separate updated Word copy; your current Main Resume stays unchanged until you review the copy and select Use as Main in Resume Vault.

Sign in to 81Hire, open Membership & Billing, choose Cancel membership, review the cancellation summary, and select Confirm cancellation. PayPal stops future renewals immediately, so there are no further charges. You retain paid access through the displayed paid-through date. After that date, your account returns to limited free access and your previous resumes, application documents, and job history remain available.
